this blog post has been a long time in coming. and these two...they're so patient. because i literally took forever and a day getting their photos up.
chelsea and aaron are fun. they have no problems being silly. and they're so very much in love.
the golden hour struck while we were walking towards the tobacco district. there was a two-lane road on one side, greenery on the other; nothing spectacular as far as backgrounds go. but that's what i love about photography: it's all about how you frame the shot. any background can become a thing of beauty.
we wrapped up on the lawn of durham's performing arts center (DPAC). i've come to love this space for portraits: it's wide and lush and green (...not that anyone can tell with the b&w...). it's the sort of grass that makes even adults want to lay down, laugh, and lean in for a kiss.
